Sperm donation is the name of the provision by a man, known as a sperm donor, of his semen with the intention that it be used to achieve a pregnancy and produce a baby in a woman who is not the man's sexual partner. Sperm donated in this way is known as donor sperm. Pregnancies are most commonly achieved via sperm donation by the use of artificial insemination, and less commonly by IVF or another ART method, rather than by NI (or sexual intercourse). Sperm donation is a means of third party reproduction.

Hi NeNe -
The first thing you should do is see your doctor or go to a fertility clinic and discuss your options. Here are some links that might help: http://www.spermcenter.com/content/choosing-donor-sperm, http://www.spermcenter.com/content/choosing-sperm-bank, http://www.spermcenter.com/content/donor-insemination. These will help you get more information, but the best place to start is with your doctor. If you decide to use donor insemination, I would recommend signing up and usiong our donor searches to get started.
Please let me know if this helps and feel free to ask anything else.
Best,
Sarah
