Requirements |
|
The requirements for becoming a sperm donor are very high. Most sperm
banks reject 90-95% of all applicants. You must be in excellent health and between 18 and 35 years
old. You must be free from sexually transmitted diseases and not a heavy
drinker or smoker. If you are adopted, you may be required to have medical
records of your biological parents.

| |
 |
Committment |
|
You must be willing to make visits to a clinic or sperm bank 1-3 times
for at least six months.
|
| |
 |
What to expect |
|
You can expect to have a full medical exam including blood and semen analysis,
and you may be asked to visit again for a follow-up exam in three or six months.
You will be paid for each specimen, usually somewhere between $50-100 per
specimen.
