If you're a sperm donor looking for a sperm bank in NYC or the New York area, you can check out any of these sperm banks and their donor programs. If you're looking for sperm donors for donor insemination, keep in mind restrictions New York has.
A handful of sperm banks are licensed to ship to New York, but not all of them, so just make sure to ask if they're licensed to ship to NYC if you choose a sperm bank outside of New York state. Two excellent choices are Reproductive Resources, Inc. and California Cryobank.

Artificial insemination , or AI, describes a procedure where sperm is inserted into a woman's reproductive tract to help her get pregnant by means other than natural insemination (sex). In a nutshell, sperm is placed into the cervix (intracervical insemination, or ICI) or washed, then inserted into a woman's uterus (intrauterine insemination, or IUI), usually with a catheter.

We recently received a visitor who told us she browsed the sperm donor listings and found the ones she was most interested in. However, she asked: "how do I go about actually receiving the sperm."
If you're on SpermCenter, after you've chosen the sperm donors you like best, you need to click on their sperm donor profile URL, which will take you to the sperm bank, then call the sperm bank's customer service people to find out more about your options. If you've chosen donors from several banks, you should call each one.
